-Today we had a singing assessment. We sang with our partner and i picked Chiara as my partner. We sang western song which we could choose either "La Bamba" or "What a Wonderful World". We picked "La Bamba" becauase we feel la bamba is more cheerful. However, I had trouble in remembering the lyrics because it was in foreign language. However, I tried very hard to remember it and I still manage to sing it without the text because I wanted to get a good score for my assessment.
-While in the instrument class, as usual our teacher told us to practise our composition with the left hand melody. Then, he told us to put it in the Finale as a draft first. We also got another assignment which is about midi file. However, the teacher didn't explain us in detailed because we don't have much time because our time was wasted because of our assessment.

Reflection no#20

-Today we hae an assessmet. We sang a traditional song called "Gundul-gundul Pacul". We sang this song with a boy as our partner. This really help me so much because I have more confident if I sing it together with someone else. So, that's why I am more confident and I could sing it louder. However, our teacher said we could get extra points if we add dancing while singing it and I just still don't have the courage to dance. So, for next time i need to improve on being more confident when performing in front.
-While in our instrument class I don't have much time to play my own composition because the time left is just a little bit more and I also need to go somewhere to attend something which I am already late. So, I go out a little bit earlier than other people.

-Today in our clsss we had an open book quiz on G clef and F clef. We also sang a western song called "La Bamba" which we just learn. It was really hard because th rhythm was really hard and the lyrics are not on english. So, it was really hard for me. So, I decided to juz sing it in "lala" first. Then our teacher also check on the lyrics that we create for our melody.
-While in our instrument class, we played and practised our own melody along with the chord (left hand melody) as usual. I didn't have any prolem with this.

-Today in our theory class, some of the students continue on creating their 32 bars melody because most of them didn't finish it as their homework. Then, some of their compositions were chosen by Mr.Herry to play in the piano and then he checked our work.
-While in the piano class, we played our own melody one-by-one long with the left hand and then we also fixed some of the melody that Mr.Herry said too complicated. Then we also starting to find for the left hands for the additinal bars that we just create and included.

-Today our teacher checked our homework on composing our own melody in form of (ABB1A1) and (AA1BB1). Then some of us give example of our own melody and played it in our own instrument like mine, is piano. Then Mr Herry also checked our software of the "Finale".
-While in our instrument class we played our melody with the accompaniment which is the left hand melody. I had trouble with searching it, but then my teacher helped me.

-Today, we learned on how to compose a song that consists of 16 bars in the form of "A A1 B A1". We were also distruted a lyric of Indonesian traditional song for our assessment later on. Actually, I felt that I am quite good at composing a song because I have already learned it before and it is also quite simple. So, I don't really have much troubles and problems with composing my own composition.
-While today in my instrument class, we only got fet remainding time for our session. So, we only played our individual compositions by ourself in the piano and our teacher, Mr.Herry also told us about the chords which will accompanied the melody of our composition. However, we need to find for our own compositions and I am not quite good at it. So, I would like to ask for my teacher's help with finding my accompaniment.
